Abstract:

We describe and demonstrate our software environment for network optimization, {\mbox{{\sc giden}}}: A Graphical Implementation Development Environment for Networks. {\mbox{{\sc Giden}}}\ features interactive graphical display and basic algorithm animation for network optimization problems. The environment has proven to be useful for teaching, implementing, and developing network optimization algorithms.
